Got it!

Part of the problem was I was typing the entire line "hkey_local ... uuidtoken:1" when 
I should have been just entering the uuid part under the existing key entry.

Also, maybe I had to delete and re-create the client variables storage reference to 
the database.  That ended up happening for other reasons, but I'd have to go back and 
re-do everything to confirm and I didn't want to spend the time.
