As well as tortoise, check out http://hshelp.com/rcsintegration.html I got this from contribution by Justin on this thread cf below and earlier interest in command line source control, CS-RCS is multi platform and can be used from the command line as well. But for win2k/xp development especially I recommend this, also free for personal use, note setup info points to wrong help file but everything is easy to set up and CS-RCS is now a custom toolbar popup in my ver of Studio 5 and comes with a comprehensive user guide and tutorials all accessible from Studio toolbar, very nice. Note toolbars folder is in studio under userdata.
BTW reloading CF 5 onto a new hd on cobalt box all goes well until I get the error Copying files........ gunzip: jre.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error even though new ver of tar installed and install no problem on previous hd and current hd not flaky. Any clue as to why this be so?? thanks Colm -----Original Message----- From: justin home office [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 10 August 2002 01:39 To: CF-Linux Subject: Re: CVS & ColdFusion Without going into if I like GUIs or not, I believe you can use scripts from within cfstudio / homesite? /studiomx? with CVS Look here, http://www.wilk4.com/asp4hs/srccontrol.htm.
