yeah - don't put a "/" after the filename.  ;-)

my specific issue was with properly naming files that are downloaded 
via cfcontent, and yes - there was a workaround posted by Dave Watts 
which is working fine for me, at least with my versions of IE.

if you mean the search engine friendly issue, then i can't comment 
since i haven't studied the issue but i know there has been lots of 
discussion about it on cf-talk.  let me know if you can't find the 
threads in the archives and i'll do a little digging...
