what a coincidence - i was just about to post this exact same question...

i'm running CFMX (without the recent update) on RH 7.3 with Apache
1.3.23. at seemingly random times either CF or Apache is caching a
file (sometimes .cfm, sometimes .html) and just will not refresh it
even after a restart. the only way i've found around it is to rename
the file and abandon the old URL. any ideas?

when i used to do Java development we had this issue also and there
was someplace deep in the bowels of WEB-INF where we could delete the
file and it would fix the problem. i'd love a solution like this if
anyone has one...
