You should manage the files with the built-in
functions from the CFAdmin or using the CF tags.

You can also change the location of the collections to
another partition from the CFAdmin.

You should also notice a jump in your swap space
during indexing. This is caused by the Verity spider
sending files back to the server faster than the
Verity indexer can parse them and place them into the
collection.
