i'm running CFMX (without the latest updates) on RH 7.3 and a few 
months ago as a test we uploaded a 180MB mp3 file to our server using 
CFFILE and it worked great.  i think we have 2 gigs of RAM though so 
that probably helps...

CFMX definitely has it's issues, but on the whole i think it works 
better for us than older versions, even though we're on an 
unsupported OS.
