well on a 2 ghz 1 gig of Ram box with CF 5.... a 180 megabyte file basically crippled the entire system.... :)
public uploads could in essence react like a Denial of Service attach... -p -----Original Message----- From: Ryan [mailto:rps@;willconsult.com] Sent: Monday, November 04, 2002 4:05 PM To: CF-Linux Subject: uploading large files through CFFILE? Has anyone tried uploading large files with CFFILE? When I try to upload a 38MB zip file, I get an error trying to reference anything after the call to CFHTTP, like CFHTTP.ServerFile. It acts as if it doesn't exist. It works fine with smaller files. I'm running CF5 on RedHat 7.something. The server has 256MB of ram. I did see some references to problems with large files with CFFILE, but nothing definate. Most people who posted problems were running 4.5. -Ryan ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-linux%40houseoffusion.com/ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_linux or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
