I'm not sure if this is related or not. I have a RH 7.1 box running CF
5.0 as well as Plesk PSA. Recently I had the Plesk engineers doing some
work on my server and they told me that they found my server was running
out of semaphores so they increased it in the kernel to 1024. You might
do some research as to semaphore settings in the kernel.

the site did time out around this time, and it's
been happening (sporadically) for quite some time
now. I need to figure out exactly what the problem
is, though, my client's getting pretty pissed.

Thanks.

sounds like a lock timed out. Not sure if that would be caused by
cflock, or
only by an internal lock.

What does this mean? I'm running CF 4.5 on Linux.

"Warning","TID=15841295","11/20/02","15:36:32"," Timed out while
waiting for
thread semaphore (5 requests are active)"

Thanks,

Jose
