I can say that all of that works very well for me, minus MX. We're still planning our MX upgrade. My development environment consists of:
Desktop 1) Win2k 2) CF Studio 4.5 3) CF 5 Single-User 4) TortoiseCVS 5) pgAdminII (Windows PostgreSQL admin tool) 6) Sybase PowerDesigner 6 Quality Assurance Server 1) RedHat Linux 7.2 2) CF 5 Pro 2) PostgreSQL 7.2 Production Server 1) RedHat Linux 7.2 2) CF 5 Pro 2) PostgreSQL 7.2 It all works fantastically. We had to develop some discipline in developing sites that are written and tested locally on a Win2k platform that will later be deployed to Linux, but it's not that bad with a QA layer running on Linux in between. We've moved away from anything using COM to Java-based alternatives, so almost everything runs flawlessly between stages. -B -----Original Message----- Has anyone any comments to make on that setup ? ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
