When you try and upload a file you get the following CF error: We are
running CF5Pro on both servers.

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information

Error processing CFFILE The directory specified in the DESTINATION
attribute of the CFFILE tag (/home/sites/www.site.info/web/images/) is not
valid. The directory either does not exist or is not accessible by the
ColdFusion service.

The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFFILE), occupying document position (60:3) to (60:173).

The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFTHROW), occupying document position (247:11) to (247:73).

I haven't looked in the logs as yet. Will these tell me something
different from what is written above?

I keep telling our server admin that it is a permissions issue and he tells
me my code is wrong. I know that the code that works on one server does
not work on the other. Same code different machine. All the permissions
have been set the same on the images directory which has been assigned to a
site-admin group which CF is a member of. As I say this is excatly the
same on both machines yet one simply refuses to work.

Any ideas? I know very little about Linux and all the permissions issues
that seem to crop up.

Cheers

Dave
