Upgrading to a new webserver and not having good luck with CF5 and redhat
7.3.

Our old box was redhat 7.1 and was rock solid - Does CF5 have problems with
7.3?

What is the best distro for CF5?

Doug - does Verity work for you? i had thought one reason that CFMX
isn't supported on 7.3 was because Verity doesn't work on 7.3.

Tim - i know you're asking about CF5, but just as an fyi - CFMX is
only supported through RH 7.2 so i'd imagine that CF5 is similar - if
not even earlier.

I have CFMX Pro (still sealed in the box) and I have not installed it, mainly
because my Linux servers are all production servers, and there seem to be too
many issues remaining to be resolved regarding installation.

Installation Tech Support is very sparse at this point and getting even more
sparse. In fact all of the responses I have seen thus far are just a referral
to this FAQ, that white paper, etc. with never being able to specifically
address the issue. Even when you get a response, you can be sure it will be two
weeks or more before you get it. Additional requests appear to be totally
ignored..

CF 5.0 runs rock solid, and all of my hosting clients (so far) are quite happy
with that.

Verity works fine for me you set up the collections the same way you do on a
windows platform.

hmmmm - that's really strange. i wonder why the Verity version in
CF5 works on RH 7.3 but no other version of Verity does? Jesse - any
ideas?
