I personally run 4 CF servers, 2 on Red Hat Linux, 1 on Windows XP and 1
on Windows 2000.

As a side-note and in response to that article, I have had to keep CF 5
on both Linux servers after having catastrophic results when I tried
upgrading to MX.  MX is running beautifully on the two Windows machines.
