Remove the symbolic link. When CFMX starts, Jrun first starts under it and looks for a Jrun license. There is none and shouldn't be any. Later in the startup, the CFMX license is discovered and the license dependency is resolved.
The symbolic link is making Jrun itself think that it has been given an invalid license, and therefore reverts to Developer mode. -----Original Message----- From: Andy Hammer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, February 14, 2003 1:51 PM To: CF-Linux Subject: Redhat 8.0 and license.properties I had a clean install of coldfusionmx 6.0 Professional onto RedHat 8.0. I also had a clean update with the Updater2. I am using httpd 2.0.43. When I start coldfusion, this is reported in the cfserver.log: "warning Unable to open /opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/lib/license.properties" To fix this, I created a symbolic link to /opt/coldfusionmx/lib/license.properties. Now when I start coldfusion, the cfserver.log reports: "warning Invalid license; reverting to Developer Version" Has anyone ever seen this or have an idea to fix it? facemann __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
