Much thanks to Todd Rafferty of Macromedia for his help on this. The steps to install CFMX on Redhat8.0 are: -Install Apache (verify that this works: http://servername/)
-Install CFMX in stand-alone mode (verify that this works: http://servername:8500/CFIDE/administrator) -Shut down CFMX, Install CFMX Updater 2 -Start up CFMX (verify that this works: http://servername:8500/CFIDE/administrator) Run wsconfig.jar from /opt/coldfusion I used the command: jre/bin/java -cp cf_root/runtime/lib -jar runtime/lib/wsconfig.jar -ws Apache -dir /etc/httpd/conf -v It worked for me!
