Ah-ha. It looks like libstdc++ is missing. This is puzzling since I thought that version of glibc with Red Hat 7.2 (2.2.4-13) was fully compatible with Verity. In fact, it said that the libstdc++ RPM only needed to be installed if my glibc C was over 2.2.5. I'll dig up the correct RPM, install it, and see if that fixes the issue.
