Well, I just found that the license.properties file in $CFHOME/lib is EMPTY
would this cause these errors?

Make sure the jvm arguments in your jvm.config file starts with -server,
rather than -server being mixed in. It *must* be the first entry in the
list, or the runtime fails. I know you said you didn't think there have been
config changes, but it doesn't hurt to re-check, as that's where I've seen
this error time and time again.

Regards,
Dave.

Subject: CF MX won't start up anymore!

Hi all...

A previously working CF MX site on RedHat 7 has gone kaput! As far as I
know, there haven't been any config changes....but the runtime keeps
failing. Is there any way to get slightly less cryptic error messages than
just the Java exceptions?

Anyone got any clues on places to start looking? I'm already at my wits end
with this.
