Anyone suggest fix for the following error message on install of Flash
Comm Server 2004 on raq3 on apache 1.3.6, mod_gzip/1.3.26 Cobalt OS 5.0 with
RH:
"
[EMAIL PROTECTED] admin]# cd /home/sites/home/users/admin/FCS_1_5_r119_linux
[EMAIL PROTECTED] FCS_1_5_r119_linux]# ./installFCS
./fcsconfig: error in loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ERROR: Your are running the Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX
installer
on the wrong platform.
"
I recall a similar problem with install of CF 4.5 at one time and the fix
was to replace the relevant .so file with an updated one. I`m not sure but
there may be a Red Hat bug to do with loading libraries for some software. I
see following on the raq in /usr/lib
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2, one guy fixed a FlashLinux problem by making a
ln -s libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3, tried that did not
work, looked as well for an rpm to update the raq library file above, but
could not find an url for one. That's far as have got so far.
Contact on or off list gratefully acknowledged.
TIA
