The answer to all your questions is yes -- but let's get you running
first.
I think the problem is with the port (8080) that you specified in the
URL.
If you followed the installation procedure and installed only 1 server
(benserver) then the port is likely 8101, e.g.
http://localhost:8101/cfusion/test/test.cfm
To verify the port, start the JMC (JRun4 Management Console) from
terminal:
/Applications/JRun4/bin/jrun -start admin
note you can start multiple server instances at once, e.g.
/Applications/JRun4/bin/jrun -start admin benserver
When the admin server is running, you can access the JMC with:
http://localhost:8000/
This will display all the server info.
