What happens when you enter the URL
http://localhost:8080
The problem may be caused by the fact that 8080 is kind of a special
port number & Apache may be getting confused. TomCat uses 8080 and
you may decide to install that at some later time -- better to use the
port numbers suggested by the JMC -- they are safe.
You can change the port number with the JMC (actually remove the old
server and create a new one)
Don't worry about remembering the port number -- you won't need to
specify port when we get you connected to Apache.
