I did come across the same problem about 2 years ago and never came up with
a solution. I just presumed it was due to my using a rather old version of
activedit though. As we very shortly lost the requirement for activedit (or
any wysiwyg editors) in our systems, I just gave up on the issue. Sorry I
couldn't help any but would be interested in any solutions you may find.
