Hi Ed,

ActivEdit does indeed run on linux, infact www.cfdev.com is running
linux. My first guess, as Howie suggested is to check the case of the
files your using. All of the files that are referenced by ActivEdit
internally are all referenced using the correct case.

Another thing I would check is to make sure that you don't have an old
version of activedit.cfm in your custom tags directory. Sometimes you
see this error when your mixing versions.

Your best bet if those don't work is to submit a support request (free
email support), where someone who does more trouble shooting than I do
can solve your problem:
