issues I have with Verity on Linux is that the spider is not supported
so I now have to roll my own spidering routine.
As far as posting, Steve Erat Macromedia posted the information on the
list the day it was released. Before we migrated to 6.1 in June, I asked
MM if Verity was supported on RH 2.1AS because it was questionable,
according to the docs. The person I spoke to at MM told me that Verity
was not supported on our version of RH. So I posted a question about
alternatives and Steve replied saying that Verity did work. After a
quick test I found that Verity certainly did work. All this to say that
the combination of Verity / Macromedia / Linux seems to produce much
ambiguity.
Tell me, does Lindex have a spider in it? If so then I might switch.
