Hmm....sorry but the last email seems to have been cut off....I typed this below all
the error message, but somehow when I posted the email, houseoffusion cut off the last
half....so I continue on.....
I assume that this is an error somehow with Axis (the program
which is included with a CFMX install that allows Apache to use SOAP
based Webservices)...which dont know how to configure or mess with. Or
is this some other kind of mapping problem? Do I have to modify apache
config files, or the jrun.xml file for anything to get webservices up
and working as they should be? I have done some research and have
found some posts online that have mentioned CF mapping issues, but in
each of those I did not find helpful tips that could be applied to my
problem.
I have registered the webservice in CF administrator (which pretty
much just lets you call the webservice by a common name instead of
having to always point to the WSDL location), but there is no change
in any conditions of the error messages...things still dont seem to be
working. I have tried other coding syntax, including CFOBJECT.....and
that doesn't work either.
Macromedia wont help me out because I have installed CF on a
"non-supported" platform (SuSE 9.0)...oh well.
Is there anyone out there with some good CF-Server/Linux skills that
can help me to get remote webservices working on my machine, or at
least help to point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Jonathan
