Hi Guys, Sorry for the cross post. I didnt get much help from CFTalk on the subject so i thought i would ask here.
I am having more troubles with Linux verity. This is with CF 6.1. I am using the following to index the files in a folder: <cfindex collection="test" action="update" type="path" key="/home/user/www/UserFiles/File/" urlpath="http://somesite/UserFiles/File/"; extensions=".pdf, .doc" custom1="pdf" recurse="yes" language="english"> This will index the word documents in the folder, but not the PDFs. When i search i get no results for the PDFs. I will get results for the Word documents. If i run this exact same code on my windows box it indexes PDFs and Word docs just fine. I am also getting bad indexing from a query. The query i am inserting int the collection contains record ABC and if i display the entire contents of the verity collection that record does not exists at all in verity collection. I installed the language pack that gives the ability to do European languages that is the only thing that i can think of that may have messed something up.
