That's because the indexing of PDFs with Verity on Linux is not supported: http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_18149 Under the "Additional Information" section, here's the key line: "Indexing Acrobat PDF files is not supported on Linux or HP-UX platforms." It should be noted that the second bullet point in that section is no longer true (the platform versions supported), due to this hotfix release: http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_19339 > I am also getting bad indexing from a query.
