I am having a frustrating time with verity on my SuSE 9.1 system. If I install
ColdfusionMX 7 in either the 30 day evaluation mode or in Developers version
everything works great how ever when I enter my license number it the Verity K2
server link disappears from the left nav in the administrator screen and the
verity collections link gives the message:
Unable to retrieve collections from the Search Service.
Please verify that the ColdFusion MX Search Server is installed and running.

Macromedia even gave me a second license number which they say wiorks on their
internal SuSE 8.2 system to try but they don't want to do any more because they
say SuSE 9.1 isn't supported by them.

The serarch engine is running and my system is listening on the search engine
ports of 9920, 9950, and 9960 but no go.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
