Dear All,
I tried installing the MX7 linux trial edition on a machine with 6.1 on it,
maybe that was a bit dumb but I was assuming it would just upgrade the
system. I guess not, ended up having to restore from backup :-( Probably a
bit dumb to have done it that way anyway!
I was just wondering if anyone else has experience with this upgrade, I
don't really want to buy the upgrade until I've evaluated it but at the
moment I can't seem to get a trial version of it running. Do I actually have
to shell out for the upgrade before I can even see it?
Also, does anyone know where there's a good upgrade install guide, the main
one on the MM website is pants because it just tells me how sexy MX7 is
rather than actually telling me how to upgrade the thing...!
