I can't seem to make this work. I have a clean installation of Ubuntu Server 7.10, I installed apache2 and sun-java6-jre and I downloaded and ran Coldfusion-8-lin.bin but every time it gives me this:
Launching installer... exec: 2481: /tmp/install.dir.7382/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java: not found I've tried to install it on Ubuntu Desktop as well with the same results. What am I missing? I've been Googling it but everything I've found starts out saying to run the bin file and says nothing about what needs to be done to get the system ready to run it.
