Dear all,
I'd like to propose two variable names to be included in the CF standard
name table for u and v components of momentum fluxes due to vertical
diffusion (rho*u'w' and rho*v'w'). These two variables are part of
diagnostic output of IFS model at ECMWF and they are required for the
CEOP Phase II project.
I checked the CF list and found the following two possible naming
alternatives:
1) downward_eastward_momentum_flux_in_air_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
downward_northward_momentum_flux_in_air_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
2) atmosphere_eastward_stress_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
atmosphere_northward_stress_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
