Dear Jonathan,

u and v components of momentum fluxes due to vertical diffusion (rho*u'w' and rho*v'w').

I checked the CF list and found the following two possible naming alternatives:

1) downward_eastward_momentum_flux_in_air_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
   downward_northward_momentum_flux_in_air_due_to_diffusion [Pa]

2) atmosphere_eastward_stress_due_to_diffusion [Pa]
   atmosphere_northward_stress_due_to_diffusion [Pa]

If it's a flux that you want, I think (1) is the right choice.
(2) is more intended for the difference in flux, corresponding to
an acceleration.

Thanks for advice. Personally I was also giving preference to the first option. Hence I would be very grateful if the two standard names mentioned in (1) could be added to the CF table.

Thanks.

Kind Regards,
Tomas
