Hello,

The library behind the cfa and cfdump tools has been updated to
cf-python v0.9.8.

cfdump is a CF field viewer and cfa creates aggregated CF
datasets. For full details, see my post from April
(http://mailman.cgd.ucar.edu/pipermail/cf-metadata/2013/056430.html).

So what's new? Well they are much faster (particulary for large
numbers of files) and the aggregation is more robust.

To get the new version, of these tools, simply install the latest
version of cf-python
(https://bitbucket.org/cfpython/cf-python/overview).

Using the python library interactively or in scripts has undergone
many more improvements - see http://cfpython.bitbucket.org/ for
details.

All the best,

David
