Dear Jonathan,

Thank you are the recommendation. I like this better. Although, I would like to recommend that 'windspeed'
be amended to 'wind_speed', ie,

radius_of_tropical_cyclone_defined_by_maximum_sustained_wind_speed

Will this be acceptable to you?

Sincerely,

Gary

Perhaps

radius_of_tropical_cyclone_defined_by_maximum_sustained_windspeed

would be slightly easier to understand?

Definition:
The great circle distance measured from the tropical cyclone center
to the region of sustained
1-minute duration maximum wind speed, as defined by the standard
name, tropical_cyclone_maximum_sustained_wind_speed.

Canonical_Units: meter
Cheers
