Thanks Gwyn,
That is what is known as an error in need of correction and should be dealt with by aliasing in the next release. I've also copied in a couple of colleagues in BODC so we can take steps to prevent embedded blanks in Standard Names. We work in collaboration with CF and run a series of checks on Standard Name updates before publication. A check for spaces can easily be added. Cheers, Roy. Please note that I partially retired on 01/11/2015. I am now only working 7.5 hours a week and can only guarantee e-mail response on Wednesdays, my day in the office. All vocabulary queries should be sent to [email protected]. Please also use this e-mail if your requirement is urgent. ________________________________ From: Gwyn Fireman <[email protected]> Sent: 01 November 2016 14:22 To: Lowry, Roy K.; [email protected] Subject: Re: [CF-metadata] White space in CF standard names Right.
