Since this work has been accepted in trac, is there any objection to merging it in GitHub? My selfish interest is that I want to link to this cool work in a proposal and it "looks" better if I reference the draft in the official cf-convention repo vs the draft in @dblodgett-usgs's fork. Of course the community's needs are more important than my own, so if leaving the PR unmerged provides a communal benefit, I'm all for keeping it open. :)
