Dear colleagues, Thanks for the extensive discussion surrounding this proposal over a long period of time. This issue can now be cleanly superseded by #257 for the following reasons:
- Changes to the governance process have been addressed within the Governance Panel in a separate activity - The remaining changes that would have been implemented idn this context were related to GitHub usage. This can be cleanly addressed in the issue referenced above. Therefore I am closing this issue in favour of the newer one (#257).
