Ive been tasked with setting up a college Intranet. Im a total novice on
ColdFusion, but as an experienced user of the rest of Studio MX 2004, it seems
logical to use CF. Ive been allocated a Dell Power Edge server running Windows
2003 to host the Intranet. What I would like to know is:
Is there an idiots guide to setting up a CF application server?
What is the best web server to install?
What licences would the college need to purchase?
Are there any good books on the subject that House of Fusion could recommend?
(I have Programming ColdFusion MX by Rob Brooks-Bilson which seems admirable,
but it doesnt cover setting up the server.)
