For $10/month, I ask self-proclaimed experts difficult questions and assign 'points' to each question. When the question is answered to my satisfaction, I 'Accept' the answer and those points are given to that person. He can use those points to subscribe to experts-exchange for free. I don't know enough to answer anyone's questions, so I'm a paying member (and get unlimited points to assign to questions). Over the weekend, I asked an obscure technical question and had it answered within an hour by someone half-way across the world.
