I am very new to CF_MX7 but am beginning a project of migrating asp sites to CF.
I am trying to connect to a mySQL database on a host. I connect fine on the development server on my laptop but when I upload the files to the production server, the connection is lost and errors are generated. I think the problem is that on my laptop - a MAC - I have a dsn to the mysql server on the laptop that is identical to the mysql on the production server - Windows 2003. I don't know how to tell the application - be it DreamWeaver or ColdFusion - which mySQL server to use. Am I lost or what?
