Michael - I agree - and that's a good point that reminded me that I did some of the second part in another project. (Duh)
So, I actually have do it both ways - I have the directory specificly named and a table that lists information about the file. (Description, Who uploaded it, when, project/pageID, etc) - and then bassed on what the user task is, I pull either the DB table, a CF Directory - or combos of the two. For mine it isn't necessarily for images - but for all sorts of files. (Part of an online content management system.) So - PDF, DOC, XLS, JPG, GIF, FLA - - whatever. Let us know what you come up with. -Nick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Newbie/message.cfm/messageid:1945 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:15 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.15
