Hi, I have been reading this post. You can set up dreamweaver to ftp to your host. You need to put the files in the webroot, sometimes that is called wwwroot, I use Linux, and so mine is called "httpdocs"
Using the developers edition to create files on your localhost, and then uploading is the remote host is a common way. I use the localhost to test, and upload when done. If you want to use dreamweaver, check http://cfhawaii.com/DW.doc I wrote a page that should explain this. Feel free to ask any questions. What type of server are you on Windows, UNIX, Linux, Mac??
