my installation went right in without a problem... Make sure that you have
the newest release of cf server and that your proxy will let your browser
hit 127.0.0.1. you could also try http://machine-name-here/

Subject: Cold Fusion Installation/IIS

Hello all,
I've installed Cold Fusion 4.5 Enterprise on a Windows 2000 Server and I
cannot test the installation. The server refuses to recognize
localhost/127.0.0.1. I've checked Microsoft's knowledgebase, Allaire's
knowledgebase, IIS newsgroups, etc., and no where can I find a satisfactory
answer to my problem. The one thing I did find was this seems to be a
somewhat common problem with Win2K and nobody, so far, knows what to do.
I'm on the verge of re-installing Win2K and starting all over. Any clues or
advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
