nope....most of the time the mail is sent. Only like one in a blue moon,
some of the users complained that they did not receive any email for a
certain web application, then i realise that the mail was not fired. Thus i
was wondering if there is any way to trap the errors?

Could be that your mail server is not set up to relay mail for local
hosts/users

catch this error? if i use cfcatch , what error type does this belongs to ??
