Ok, this is not a problem... its just an alert that I discovered last
night...
I added four new variables to my profile script:
im_icq
im_aim
im_yahoo
im_msn....
Obviously these four represent the four most popular messengers to my
knowledge... so i added the <input text> for each and the fields to the
update query and cfparams... and the fields to the db.. and here's the
alert.... if you have multiple fields that begin with the same prefix it
might assume the rest of the variable name because im_icq would read icq's
value from the db and im_aim would read aim's value from the db but im_msn
and im_yahoo would read icq's value from the database... and i know this
wasn't an error on my part because i did a simple find and replace to remove
all im_ from the application and went into the db and did the same...
Just thought you'd like to know...
Thanks,
Tony Hicks
