You can use the import feature in Access. Go to file, get external data,
import and then just follow the prompts. One word of caution, when you
import excel data that is numeric, you loss the preceeding zeros. Not a big
deal unless it the spreadsheet is holding SSNs or something like that.

Subject: Exporting from Excel to Access

Hi,

Can someone please assist me on how to read an Excel file and take the
contents to a Access database.
I have created an Access DB with the same field names and have a DSN set up
for the Access database.

How do I read the Excel file and insert row by row to the Access DB? Thanks
in advance.
