Personally I think this could be great for all concerned. I've seen this
before, most notably with Symantec purchasing products/companies and
strengthening them in the marketplace. In a market where you have to compete
with the likes of Microsoft, size counts. Also I think the products are
highly complementary. Seems to me CF Studio could use a stronger dose of
WYSIWYG. And I'd love to see Deamweaver go to the the tabbed look of studio
for multiple open documents.
My final thought is that a Macromedia Merger could only result in CF becoming
more popular then it already is. Anybody with CF skills now is in on the
ground floor for what could be a greatly increased demand.
