perhaps a new mail list should be created - i expect this may be a big
topic for debate...
my .02 - i am excited about this merger. macromedia's and allaire's
products are complementary - not competitive. I see this as allowing a much
tighter integration between the tools i already use -
dreamweaver/flash/fireworks for web site production, and coldfusion for
dynamic driven webpages and applications.
imagine coldfusion studio with the drag and drop capabilities of Ultradev,
and Ultradev with the text/source code editing capabilities (like tag
completion, color coding, insight, etc) of cf studio...
of course nothing is for sure yet. hope there is more info coming soon...
