Just go to:
Start - Programs - Administrative Tools(Common) - Performance Counters.
Then check out some of these sites:
http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/winnt/perform.asp
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/iis/meashd.asp
http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/iis/prfrelmn.asp
The first one is probably the best, but all have some great info. What I
like to do is start a Performance Monitor log going and run it for about a
week at a time. During the week I try to note the times problems, i.e. slow
downs, errors etc happen, and then open up the log in Perfmon and see what
was going on at those time.
HTH,
Thomas.

Subject: NT Performance Counters
Any ideas on accessing the Performance Monitor counters in NT4?
That's a very general question since there are so many different
counters.... But I am trying to access counters like IIS, Processor, Cache,
PhysicalDisk, etc. to create reports that your typical site analysis
software/logs can't tell you.
Thanks in advance.
Jason
