AMD's are burstable while Pentiums are steady! That's a new one on me.
Actually the P4's net architecture is called Netburst. Maybe it's more
burstable now? lol
I run SQL Server on my AMD system at home and have none of the problems you
speak of. The test results actually refute what you are saying...
