Kola,
I use a program available from a Microsoft site called METAEDIT. I think
V2.1 is the latest. It allowed me to export and then import the Metadata
to a new server to a point where little editing needed to be done (like
assigning new IP addresses for each web site.) I assumed that all
document roots layouts are in the same place in the file system as well.
You will also need to sync the password and account name to the new local
IWAM account on the new server using with the
\system32\inetsrv\adminsamples\adsutil.vbs script. Got me up and going
fast on another server.
