I was at a Microsoft conference in the spring based on win2000 migration.
Suprisingly, this is one of the first MS sponsored conferences I've been to
where there was no blue screen of death during demonstrations.  In small
business it has worked fine.  I havent tried it in a complex network though.
We only have 11 machines.

What really perplexed me was that Microsoft says you should never take a
upgrade route to 2000 although you cant have a 2000 bdc while the pdc is NT.
Go figure.  It seems to be a do or die migration.  Back up and have fun.  I
worked a 48 hour stretch during ours.

Yes, because I'll never try using it again.  I don't have time to keep
rebuilding servers.
